5 Tips for making athletes more human.

1. Get to know your athlete and allow him or her to be comfortable around you.

To first make your athlete more of a person and less of an athlete that people do not know, you must first know your athletes. This can be knowing their hobbies, what they like to eat, know who they listen to and so on. From this you can start to connect with your athlete and make them more comfortable around you. When people are comfortable around other people they let them be themselves and they are not tied down

2. Promote them!

If you want people to know about something or someone what is the best thing to do? The answer is to promote them on social media and to get their name out in the news for having a positive impact on the community that they live in. When you promote the person, you are working with to the community their name will become more well know and it will make it easier for people to recognize their name.

3. Remember their strengths as a person.

Remember that they are people too and they have strengths and weaknesses when it comes to social meetings. For example, if the person does not talk well or does not like to talk in front of a huge group then you probably do not want them to have a big speech where they will mess up the message that you and that person are trying to send.

4. Always remember that giving back to the community is always great.

When there is ever a doubt about what you should do when it comes to an event just remember, community is everything. They are everything, they are the ones who surround you and they make everything happen around you. When people give back to the community it creates a good connection with them and they will start to look at you as one of their own and from then on you have a place to go.

5. Understand their schedule.

Athletes are under a huge amount of stress every day. One of the things that you can do is understand their schedule. When you understand their schedule then you can get them at their best and not when they are at their worst and when they are the most stressed.
