This week we at Outside of the Huddle have decided to interview John Smith, John has been working as a part of our community outreach team and has been working with us now for five years going strong. What John does here in the organization is he is the one that reaches out to the community leaders that help us with everything we do. From community events to public works to having giveaways within the community that is what John smith does every day. He schedules the events he finds solutions to problems that may arise when working with the community and he is a great addition to the Outside of the Huddle team. We are lucky that he is with us as he makes our day a whole lot less of a struggle. We asked John a few questions about what it means to him that he works with Outside of the Huddle.
Q. What is the best thing about working at Outside the Huddle?
A. I would have to say that the best thing about working at Outside of the Huddle is that it is very much like a family and everyone know everyone, and they all get along there is not drama among coworkers we are all there to help one another and to make the place better.
Q. Why did you pick Outside the Huddle to work for?
A. My first reaction was here’s a job that will pay the bills and once I got into the organization, I fell in love with everything around it and when I got my first community event to work out. There is nothing like that when all the pieces come together like that. In the end of the day, I just wanted a place that really helped others and that they would take care of me.
Q. What will the future look like for you?
A. Well I hope to continue it here and continue to make the community a better place and to keep helping athletes on their way and making sure that they succeed on the field and off the field so that they will be view in the eyes of the community as a great person.
