I would like to thank ABCD news company for covering this event and I would like to thank every one of you for coming to the first event Outside of the huddle is having in a long time due to COVID-19. With this event we hope to build our relationship with this wonderful community that we at Outside of the Huddle are grateful to be a part of. We love our children don’t we and we want to see them succeed in life, how can we can do that, the answer is simple, it’s for them to have a better education.
We are all gathered here today to raise funds for “send my kids to school” a group that is dedicated to send young kids to receive a higher education degree from a university. This is the first step forward when building a community and with the younger group of the community having a college degree that will start a chain reaction to have their kids attend college and with this leaves a better future for all of us. What we need from the people of this community is to believe that things will get better when it comes to the education of our young generation and push them to be better than the people that came before them. With the money that we are raising in the coming months we will be able to send 200 kids or more to college and that is just the beginning. With backing from the Chicago Bears we are determined to increase that number every year this year it might be 200 next year it might be 300 but it will go up and we will continue to send kids to the colleges of their dream.
We are very happy with what this can bring to the community around Chicago and what it will do, to improve the many lives that will be affected by this program. I personally would like to thank everyone who is involved with this just to name a few being the Chicago Bears, big brothers’ big sisters, and the department of education in the Chicagoland area and everyday people like you. I cannot thank you enough because without you this would never be possible. And thank you ABCD news for covering this event.
